Here are the general instructions for setting up your email, simply replace username/email and password (all items in red below) with your details.

Here are the instructions that should step through Outlook setup:

- If this is the first time you have opened Outlook 2010 then the Startup wizard will show. Click Next.
- Outlook 2010 Startup Wizard
- Outlook will ask if you wish to configure an email account. Select Yes and click Next.
- Select Yes to configure an Email account
- If the Setup Wizard does not show then click the Tools menu and click Account Settings. In the window that pops up click the “new...” button
- Select POP3 IMAP exchange
- At the bottom of the next page select manually configure (don’t fill in any info on this page)
- Click Next, and Select Internet E-mail, and click Next again
- You are now asked to enter your email account details
- Enter your name
- Enter your email address as youremail@yourdomain.com.au
- Select POP3 for the Account Type
- Enter mail.yourdomain.com.au your Incoming Mail Server
- Enter mail.yourdomain.com.au as your Outgoing Mail Server
- For User Name, enter your full email address as youremail@yourdomain.com.au
- Enter your email password as xxxxxxxx
- Click More Settings.
- Click the Outgoing Server tab and then tick My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Click Ok
- Click Next
- Outlook will test your settings. Click Close
- Click Finish.

Log in to change your password, or set a vacation message (auto-responder).
Ensure you replace ‘yourdomain.com.au’ with your own domain name.
Use the username and password that was provided to you.
